Ester on Tour was the debut headlining concert tour by Canadian singer Ester d'Arras, in support of her debut album Ester. The tour began on September 5, 1997 in Philadelphia and concluded on October 29 in Dublin, comprising 15 concerts. The North American leg visited concert halls, and international legs visited arenas.
Background and development[]
The tour was announced in April 1997. Tickets went on sale in early May of that year. Each show started between 6:00 and 8:00 in the evening.
Set list[]
The set list contained all 10 songs from Ester as well as covers of well-known hits released before 1997. Examples include "Summertime" by Ella Fitzgerald, "Je ne regrette rien" by Edith Piaf, a modern Disney medley, and various musical numbers in the history of Broadway and Hollywood.
